I use oil, ink, flashe, acrylic, watercolor, and gouache on panel, canvas, linen, and paper for my paintings. Recent works in collage include added foil and found objects over flashe, ink and acrylic on paper. The monotypes have additional watercolor to the ink prints.

Follingstad holds an MFA from the University of Colorado and a BFA from the University of Denver. She is a native of Santa Fe, and her work has been exhibited widely in New Mexico since the early 2000s.
